Job Descriptions

Employees employed in a safety sensitive position are required to participate in the Drug and Alcohol program.

All Employees

To perform assigned duties with safety and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
To assist in keeping all work areas clear , clean and safe.

Highway Drivers

Pick up and deliver loads as assigned by dispatch
To do basic maintenance of the unit and to report to supervisor of the Maintenance Division
To keep written logs of all maintenance done on the road
To conform to all HOS-DOT Provincial and State Traffic Laws
To do a daily pre-trip/post trip inspection
To keep log books up to date and turned in regularly

Swamper

To help the Driver, Forklift Operator or Management as deemed necessary
Paid by the hour
On call 24 hours a day during workdays
Normal hours are 8-5
Days off as per schedule
To observe safe practices

Field Operators

To haul goods and provide services as directed by dispatch
To fill out all paperwork affiliated with the job
To oversee swampers on the job
To keep the assigned truck maintained, as to the Maintenance Section
Wages are paid by the hour, overtime is paid after 8 hours on a shift
On call 24 hours a day during workdays
Normal hours are 8-5
Days off as per schedule
To comply with all Traffic Laws
To comply with HOS-DOT
To perform a pre-trip/post trip inspections

Forklift Operator

To operate mulipurpose macines such as large forklifts and tool carriers proficently.
Unloading and loading heavy tubular products off of flatbed trailers and railcars and racking as required.
Loading annd unloading general freight off of trucks and spotting.

Mechanics

Reports directly to maintenance shop
Hours are 8-5 unless otherwise stated
Wages are paid by the hour, overtime is paid after 40 hours a week
To provide maintenance required as directed by
- Supervisors
- Management
To document the repairs
To observe all safety procedures

Sandblaster

To operate sandblaster unit and prepare trailers and equipment for painting

Painter

To paint trailers and equipment as needed

Laborer

To assist in loading and unloading of trucks in yard
To travel with the trucks to locations and assist driver
To assist wherever there is a need.
To assist in keeping all work areas clear , clean and safe.
